What are the lasers in industrial production?

At present, with the continuous development of the times, the strength of science and technology is increasing day by day, fiber lasers play a very important role in the field of industrial processing, especially in high-power laser processing. Different types of lasers have different characteristics, so their applicability is different in different industries.
Now let's take a look at the types and applications of lasers:
According to the working substance, the laser can be divided into gas laser, including CO2 laser, He-Ne laser, etc.; liquid laser with liquid dye as pump source; solid laser, Nd:YAG, Nd:YVO4, Yb:YLP, etc.; semiconductor laser and so on. According to the working mode, it can be divided into continuous laser and pulse laser. From the basic working principle, all kinds of lasers are similar, including pump source, optical resonator and gain medium.
In laser marking, the commonly used lasers are YAG lamp pumped solid state laser, side pumped solid state laser, end pumped solid state laser, fiber laser, CO2 laser. As far as marking processing is concerned, because the processing depth and intensity are not very high, many lasers are competent in this respect. The difference between side pumping and end pumping is mainly only in the pumping direction.
CO2 laser is a gas laser with a wavelength of 10.6 microns in the far-infrared optical band, using CO2 gas as the pumping medium. Coupled with the high voltage, the rarefied gas produces self-excited conduction, which in turn causes the gas molecules to release laser light.
Laser technology is widely used in industry, but it makes people feel a little far away from our lives. In our daily life, in fact, many places can see the shadow of laser processing. For example, when buying goods at ordinary times, many of the labels and accessories on clothing are laser processed. The common CD/DVD in the past, laser printers often used in work, laser anti-counterfeiting signs, bar code scanners used by salesmen when shopping for payment, etc.
The types of lasers are actually far more than the above, and with the continuous development of science and technology, laser technology is constantly penetrating into more fields, bringing more changes to our lives.
